Business are flesh and blood

A couple of weeks ago when a good friend me told me the following sentence:

“Business are flesh and blood. The people are the body, the food is the money and, in our case (Internet), tech is the brain”.

For me, this sentences perfectly sintetizes some of the problems you’ll find as an entrepreneur:

1) Delegating. It’s a lot easier to trust yourself than the others and we tend to try to do it all on our own to prevent mistakes. However, a body won’t work with just a stomach or a leg.

2) If you don’t eat, your body dies.If you are not earning money, the same thing happens to your company. Every succesful entrepreneur that I met worked for their passion, not for the money. But they learned at some point that without money there’s just no project.

If you just think about money you’ll lose the sense “direction” to make your project come true. And yet you cannot forget money either because, without it, your project won’t survive. And that’s what’s really, important you have to pursue, to make your project live and grow.
